IE session is useful for saving multiple open webpages URLs so they can be reviewed latter.
you will come across this when you are doing internet research for a product to buy, for sofrware reviews, planning a trip or an event... then you have to close before you finish.
IE sessions will save the open URLs into text file.
IE session: Used to save sessions of IE. This is useful in particular after a long search online if was unfinished. multi-tabs will be saved into txt file. Then using excel function "MID" it's cleaned from the numbers at the beginning of each line before they can be transferred to other applications or saved online for remote access. The cleaning step is better performed using a macro in excel.
The clipboard manager softwae "clipCash" has the ability to do some cleaning but not as diverse as what can be performed in excel.
